VO2Max Test + Suunto t6 Package

The Suunto t6 records your heart rate, altitude, and speed and distance while cycling or running with optional Foot or Bike Pods (see below). Whatever your current fitness level, by using Suunto t6 and its training software, you can plan a program that maximizes the effectiveness of your training and enables you to meet your goals.

Suunto t6 accurately records how your body performs during exercise, enabling later analysis and planning with Suunto Training Manager software. It is the first tool to directly measure the effect of each training workout and relate it to your personal fitness level to tell you how effective your exercise load was.

It includes time, training assessment, heart rate monitor, average HR, training timers, altimeter, graphic barometer and analysis software. On the PC, you will see a complete speed profile of your run or ride, and you can compare it to your body parameters and altitude. The components of this system (footpod, bikepod, chest strap) are coded using the ANT digital network, making it impervious to interference- the only one of its kind!

Foot Pod (walker & runners): The Foot POD allows you to combine running speed and distance with the Suunto t6 training functions. This lightweight device attaches easily to your shoe. It measures the length of every stride with three acceleration sensors for highly accurate speed and distance data.

Road Bike Pod (cyclists): This bicycling POD from Suunto measures the movement of your bicycle's wheels to gauge your speed and measure the distance you've traveled. It turns your Suunto wrist top fitness computer into a wireless biking computer, measuring your current average speed, and provides a distance alarm once you have passed certain pre-set thresholds - making all of your biking expeditions more efficient and your self-performance assessments much more accurate. The sensor attaches to the hub lever / skewer and a magnet attached to the spokes.

GPS Pod (cycling & running): Suunto's GPS-based speed and distance sensor for all outdoor sports attaches easily to your body using a clip or elastic armband. Easy one-button operation. Compatible with Suunto t6, t4 and t3 watches.
